Everything About Business or Enterprise Phone Boosters
Sep 07, 2021
With today’s mobile business environment, it is simply not acceptable for mobile users to put up with poor cell signal. The days of dropped calls, missed calls, and slow Internet speeds are very quickly becoming a thing of the past. Not being able to receive or make calls is not only frustrating, it can mean a huge revenue loss for businesses. Certainly, in the past it was very common for mobile users to complain about hit or miss cell phone reception, but todays cell phone users expect to achieve reliable and strong reception.
Because of today’s mobile business practices, we see many employers and employees managing their workload outside the office environment. In fact, for many it has become their sole method of conducting business. However, this can only be achieved when mobile phone users are able to achieve strong and reliable cellular signal. Being able to reliably make and take business calls is therefore imperative to the successful running of their business, and anything less than a strong phone signal can be devastating to their work performance.
Of course, the same applies to employees working within office environments. For many employers and employees, their cell phones have become their primary means for making and accepting business calls. Weak and unreliable phone signal is just not acceptable in today’s business environment. The days of missed calls, dropped calls, and slow data speeds either inside or outside the office walls should be a thing of the past. However, there're instances where achieving a reliable signal requires assistance, because the construction of many buildings is not conducive to allowing mobile phone users to achieve a strong, uninterrupted signal. Fortunately, there is an easy solution to this problem.
The Answer Is an Enterprise Cell Booster!
Commercial phone boosters have been designed specifically to support many cell phone users such as they exist in business enterprises, and to support the signal requirements of all sized buildings, from small areas right through to large constructions. In addition, business signal boosters like the Fusion5X 2.0 and the Force5 2.0 have been developed specifically to improve cell service inside more unconventional structures like hospitals, hotels, museums, parking garages, basements, and other constructions.
There are a number of reasons why mobile boosters are effectively used in office environments:
- HetNet
These diverse networking products work with all North American cellular networks. It stands to reason that when there are many employees in an office environment, multiple cell carriers may be required. With just one cellphone amplifier, cell service can be improved for all carrier networks.
- 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G
At least one of our cellphone boosters is capable of improving the new 5G service, while all boosters improve signal for 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE. While the focus of cell carriers in the US is typically on their 4G LTE service, it is important to note that many rural areas are still using 3G, which is also covered by our cellular boosters.
- Data, Text, and Call
SignalBooster.com’s phone boosters have been designed to improve mobile users’ ability to text, call, and use 4G LTE to stream data.

Determining Which Cellular Booster to Purchase for Your Commercial Needs
Gain is measured in dB, and a phone booster works by adding gain in order to expand cellular coverage. While gain is typically the main indicator of how much boost can be achieved by a wireless booster, there are also other factors. This means that the more dB gain contained in a cell phone signal booster, the greater area of coverage provided by the booster.
Because of possible issues of oscillation with cell towers, the FCC has placed limits on the amount of gain that can be added by a wireless booster. SignalBooster.com ensures that all our cellphone boosters reach their maximum gain.
One of the greatest advantages of our signal amplifiers is that, depending on your own individual situation, the dB gain can be adjusted to maximize reception. With some boosters, the dials on the booster are used to manually adjust gain, while others come complete with AGC (Automatic Gain Adjustment). SureIQ is another great feature on a number of our commercial phone boosters by SureCall. That technology prevents any issues with oscillation and safeguards against the booster shutting down in situations where incoming signals are very strong.
SureCall very proudly marketed the first commercial amplifiers in 4G solutions, and they are extremely proud to hold the patent for the first 5G phone booster. All our Sure Call signal boosters come with a lifetime of US-based technical support, 60-day returns, plus you receive an industry-leading 3-year warranty.

What do I need to do, to maintain my commercial cell phone booster?
Due to the innovative design and construction of today’s amplifiers, they have become very user-friendly and require little maintenance. Our suggestion is that you check the components of your cellular booster every 2 to 4 weeks, just to ensure you get on top of any potential issues early, so repairs will be easier and stress-free.
Use the following suggestions to perform a maintenance check-up on your amplifier:
- Check Temperature of the Signal Amplifier
Your cell-phone booster will still operate well when the temperature reaches as high as 150° F.
- Check for Damage to Cables
You’re looking for fraying, pinching, or any other damage that may have occurred to cables.
- Inspect Both Outside and Inside Antennas
Both antennas should be firmly secured and free from obstruction by dirt, dust or other objects.
- Power Cycle, or Reset, the Amplifier
Power-cycle the wireless amplifier if you wish to troubleshoot the system by turning the amplifier off, then waiting for around 30 seconds before turning the mobile booster on again. Power cycling is the same as re-setting the system.
Are dealers considered liable if a consumer fails to register their signal booster?
If you're our cell phone signal booster reseller, you will not be held liable provided you follow proper protocols, such as ensuring your customers understand that their signal-booster must be registered. Make sure that your user instructions and marketing materials are very clear in showing that consumer boosters must be carrier-registered and that these boosters were for individual use only, but very recent regulation expanded their use, and can now be used for businesses. All signal-boosters include the required FCC labelling that clearly states pertinent information.
Why Do Cell Phone Users in Commercial Spaces, Business Buildings, and Industrial Facilities Experience Poor Cell Reception?
- Topography
Whether you’re in an area with thick foliage, or a hilly or mountainous area, your cell phone signal may experience interference. Most problems of little-or-no signal can be overcome with a phone booster solution.
- Location
One of the main reasons cell phone users experience missed or dropped calls is their distance from cell towers. However, our yagi-outside-antenna kits have been specifically designed to improve both reception and range when cell towers are far away.
- Building Materials Running Interference
Today’s modern-day infrastructures are using building materials like metal framing that prevent signal from entering the building. Construction materials like concrete, wood, stone, brick, drywall, shingles, and even glass, can reduce or completely block signals from entering large buildings.

Phone boosters work blah, blah, blah. Everyone expects good cell phone coverage blah, blah, blah. Why is it a business’ responsibility to provide good cell phone coverage by putting in some sort of phone booster? I’m sick of these cell phone companies putting out next-gen phones that claim to do more, but still have the same connectivity problems. Why can’t they find a way around this?
Good maintenance tips for this booster. If you’re going to buy a piece of equipment like a phone booster, you certainly don’t want it to break down due to poor maintenance. I’d say all these maintenance tips look straight-forward. That’s amazing that the phone booster will work when the temperature reaches 150. I’d like to think that won’t be an issue.
Question: This blog confuses me man. Why do people in offices use cell phones and not office phones? Are businesses trying to save money by not having traditional phone service? This doesn’t make sense. Could someone explain this?
Answer: I think it is now standard practice to state the cell phone # as boilerplate info and in email signatures so the clients or customers can call those numbers to be sure they reach the business representatives – most of whom are already in offices and can be reached via landlines.

So if I’m getting this all right, there are cell phone boosters for home and cell phone boosters for offices too. Sounds like the ones for offices can be very strong, especially if the FCC regulates them. Thanks to whoever wrote this because they seem to have covered the basic points of these phone boosters for businesses.
I like that businesses now have a way to make sure their employees (and customers) can get a strong signal. It really stinks when a business is at the mercy of a building’s structural conditions and they can’t get a good signal. It might be the building’s location from a cell tower or the building’s materials that prevent people from getting a strong signal. Getting a cell phone booster for your office seems like a practical fix for any business dealing with weak signals.
People bringing their cell phones to work to do work is common today. I’ve even heard of some offices wanting everyone to have the same phone to improve efficiency (I’m not sure why this is necessary). I’m not surprised that there are cell phone boosters for offices. Mobile boosters are particularly needed in some buildings too as the reception is crummy.
I didn’t know there were special cell phone boosters for offices but it makes sense if they make them for homes and cars. Interesting that these cell phone boosters for businesses require special installation, but I know I wouldn’t trust installation to anyone. It sounds like these are somewhat more advanced than the ones you’d put in your home.
