Product Description
zBoost Indoor Broadcast Antenna is an omni-directional ceiling mounted dome antenna. It has a type F-Female connector and TNC-F adaptor. It is broadband antenna meaning it boosts reception on a broad range of frequencies covered by all carriers in USA and Canada. It provides 1 to 2 dBi Gain depending upon the frequency being boosted. It is a wide-band omnidirectional antenna covering frequencies from 700 MHz to 2500 MHz. It is for ceiling mounting. It provides high gain in multi-directional fashion. This antenna supports both 3G and 4G cellular communications on the CEL, PCS, AWS, and LTE frequency bands. It is compatible with zBoost SOHO, REACH and PRO cell phone amplifiers, but not compatible with zBoost TRIO cell phone signal amplifiers.
This antenna provides additional inside coverage for larger living/ working areas by transmitting signal in all directions. It uses an F-female connector and connects to your zBoost base unit using the included F to TNC adaptor.
Includes: Ceiling-mount dome antenna with F-female connector, mounting screws, and TNC-male adaptor.
Note: RG-6 cable is required to connect the antenna to the base unit (not included). If you need antenna with RG6 cable, purchase part # zBoost YX052-15W.

The directions below will assist you in the installation of the YX052 ceiling mount Omni-directional indoor antenna. The antenna provides enhanced performance for the zBoost cell phone signal booster and is compatible with consumer and commercial zBoost products.
Mounting the Base Unit and Omni-Directional Antenna.
The YX052 antenna provides enhanced signal strength in all directions (omni-directional) from the antenna. The antenna should be located near the center of the area where improved signal strength is desired. The antenna requires a length of coax cable (not included) to be able to connect to the Base Unit. It is recommended to use 15 feet of RG-6 cable, Part YX030-15W.
Ceiling Mounting the Base Unit Antenna.
Once you have determined the desired location for the antenna, mount the antenna using the included hardware:
1) Drill a 3⁄4 inch diameter (19 mm.) hole in the ceiling where the antenna is to be mounted.
2) Route the RF cable and threaded mount of the antenna through the hole from the room side as shown.
3) Attach the plastic nut over the threaded section extending through the ceiling and hand-tighten the nut. Excessive force can damage the threaded mount of the antenna.
4) Connect the RF cable of the antenna to a 15 feet coax extension cable (not provided). Then, using the provided TNC-F adapter, connect the coax to the Base Unit.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.
Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.
If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
