Is Internet connection required for cell phone signal boosters?

A network extender, also known as microcell, works only for a single wireless carrier that it is designed for, and it DOES REQUIRE Internet connection to work.

All cell phone signal boosters we suggest are standalone devices. They do not require any Internet to work. Their outside antenna catches faraway signals and injects them indoor through coaxial cable. Then the signal amplifier basestation amplifies those signals further and broadcasts them inside the house or building through inside antenna.
