What is AWS, LTE and 4G?
AWS (advanced wireless services).
AWS (advanced wireless services) is the wireless telecommunications spectrum band used for mobile data and voice services, messaging and video. AWS operates on 1700 MHz and is a digital cellular network that offers coverage in areas where carriers don't own radio frequency spectrum licenses.
LTE (long -term evolution).
LTE (long -term evolution) is marketed as 4G LTE. This specific data protocol is used for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones. It increases speed and capacity by using a different radio interface. LTE delivers a better network experience by creating more space to carry data services and traffic. LTE technology uses the 4G bands of 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz to transmit data.
4G (4th generation).
4G is the 4th generation mobile network technology that gives faster data speeds and a better internet experience. While 3G provides Internet access, including mobile apps and video content, 4G provides ultra-broadband mobile Internet access. 4G phones are backwards compatible with 2G and 3G, so if you are in an area without 4G services, a phone should still be supported by the carrier on its 3G network.
