Product Description
DC Hardwire Power Supply 6V/2A with DC Jack for WilsonPro IoT M2M Amplifiers | weBoost 859923 by Wilson Electronics.
DC Hardwire Harness 6V/2A for Wilson Pro IoT / M2M 5-Band amplifiers (previously Wilson Pro Signal 4G) is for hard wiring vehicle's or cabinet-stored sealed lead-acid battery 12V DC to signal amplifier's 6V DC 2A DC Jack. Compatible with many electronics that require 6V and 2A including M2M cell amplifier WilsonPro Signal 4G and the new Wilson Pro IoT 5-Band.
This replacement power supply cord or cable helps electronics such as Wilson or weBoost machine to machine mobile amplifiers power directly through a battery source in any car, truck, rv, boat or indoor cabinet or IT room. It can also plug in directly to vehicle's 12-volt powering system.
It is always powered on when vehicle ignition switch is turned on. It does not use the user-facing 12v female power port interface provided in all vehicles for powering portable electronics. Specs.: DC/DC Hardwire Power Supply, 6V/2A Fused 12-24VDC with 10.5 feet cable. (Hardwire) 6V/2A with DC Jack. UPC: 813986005194.
Note: This Wilson / We Boost replacement power supply adapter and cord is already included in the complete direct-connect M2M cellular signal booster kits, Pro Signal 4G (460119), Pro Signal 4G (460219) and respective Wilson Pro IoT 5-Band M2M kits.
This Hardwire power supply has been approved for use with following M2M signal booster kits:

I just purchased a 4G-X OTR for use in our RV. We're normally hooked up to electric when using it. I understand there is a 120 volt plug in power supply. Which one should I use? I read a customer review that said the 12vdc output model increased the throughput of the amplifier compared to the 6vdc version. He also mentioned the 12vdc caused the amp to run hotter. Can you help me make a decision? Thanks!
We would suggest the 6V power supply since 6V is what is recommended for the system to work properly. Customers have also used 12V before and have seen improvement but have seen problems in the long run since it does overpower the system and doesn't last and has potential to damage the system with that much power. We don't recommend the 12V due to these issues.

How to I hardwire this plug in my RV?
You would hard wire this harness just like any standard hardwire. I would look up instructions on how to hardwire generally before attempting to do so on your RV with this unit. There may be YouTube videos on how to hardwire as well. As far as what is positiive and negative - the side with the white line is positive while the black is negative.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.
Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:
Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.
Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.
If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
