Product Description

Directional Antenna (Cellular 4G, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi Frequencies 600-6500 MHZ, Gain 14-26 dBi)

Long Range Antenna for WiFi 2.4, 5 GHz and Cell Phone 3G, 4G LTE, 5G is a Directional Parabolic Grid Antenna. It covers a wide range frequency bands from 600 MHz to 6500 MHZ or 600 MHz to 6.5 GHz. It provides 14 to 27 dBi Gain depending on frequency band whether Cellular 800 MHz, PCS 1900 MHz and AWS from 1710 to 1755 MHz for uplink, and from 2110 to 2155 MHz for downlink or Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Due to its vast frequency range and farthest directional reach, this is the best and most powerful Wi-Fi 2.4, 5 GHz and Cellular 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G over the air (OTR) super antenna for 2020 and beyond. Future-proofed with 5G Band 71 compatibility that includes 5G T-Mobile Band 71 Sub-6 Frequency.

This Over The Air (OTA) antenna can be used as the main or auxiliary antenna for cell phone signal booster system or in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for catching maximum exterior signal to send into the building for cellular and wifi amplification systems to amplify. Premium quality most powerful up to 26 dBi Gain wide band outdoor directional antenna with parabolic metal reflector grid puts together the power of directional antenna and ability of metallic grid reflector to capture max possible signal from any one direction with laser focus. This ultra high power parabolic antenna works on all 3G, 4G LTE, WiFi technologies. It operates on 50 Ohm impedance. It can be mounted on top of any house or building on roof outside to improve access to wifi or cell phone tower signals for boosters and amplifiers installed inside.

This can serve as an exterior wifi and cell phone signal booster antenna, and can replace outside antenna in a distributed antenna system (DAS). It transmits powerfully in one direction in a very small and narrow 7 degrees conical range so it must be aimed accurately to point to target signal origin for it to work for you. It is designed for using outdoors with any wifi 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz or 50 Ohm 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G and 5G E cellular signal amplifier or repeater. It boasts up to 26 dBi Gain.

Compatible with most 50 Ohm cell phone repeaters and boosters, including Uniden, Hiboost, SureCall and Wilson weBoost. This uni-directional parabolic antenna will work for all international mobile frequency bands for 3G, 4G, LTE data and voice with any carrier including AT&T, Telus Mobility, T-Mobile USA, Bell Canada, Verizon Wireless, Rogers, Freedom Mobile, and many more. This is like a cell dish antenna, except that it has a metal grid instead of a metal dish. A metallic grid is better than a metallic dish because it will stay put in stormy weather since wind can blow right through it.

In most instances, this unidirectional Yagi-antenna is used as an on-building roof antenna to improve access to broadband wireless wifi or mobile tower signals for signal amplifiers and boosters that have been installed inside. The wide frequency range also makes it ideal for use at 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz for Wireless Video applications and WiFi.

Parabolic Antenna Grid Metal Reflector.

It features a die-cast aluminum reflector grid that is corrosion resistant and mounted on the rear of the antenna. The grid improves the Gain, Front to Back Ratio and Return Loss. This grid bolt-on high gain horn antenna is completely water proof or weather proof. It can be mounted or bolted-on any antenna pole (not included, see options below) with the hardware included. The short cable attached terminates in a N Female connector which is typically used with 50 Ohm low loss coaxial cable such as Wilson-400, LMR-400, SureCall-400, etc.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I have tried everything including the most powerful cell phone signal booster but I'm off the grid and get no signal whatsoever where I'm at, because there are no cell towers for hundreds of miles. Is there anything that can help me get Internet?

Sorry, we do not provide cellular nor Internet service. We can only help improve indoor and in-vehicle coverage if you already have that cellular service subscription from any Carrier in North America. If you have already tried this passive cell and wi-fi antenna too, we would recommend StarLink satellite internet service by SpaceX instead of your local cell phone service provider. Star Link wireless coverage is provided through Space-X and it is expanding rapidly across USA to provide service to locations that are not served by any communication service provider, or do not have phone and Internet service coverage through local phone carrier. Skylink is a bit expensive, though. One time hardware cost is $499 + $99 for one month service itself + one-time $50 shipping and handling + one-time sales tax of approx. $50. That totals to roughly $600 plus ongoing $99 monthly recurring service fee. If you have already tried everything including this powerful antenna, Star-Link may be your best bet if it is already available in your area (it will, eventually, if not already). You can sign up here: www.starlink.com (we do not get any commission nor profit for referring you to them - this is just a courtesy referral to help you, and others that have no communication service available from other telecommunication or Internet companies).

  • Just received the grid cellular and wifi antenna. What other components do I need for this to work?

If you already have a wifi / cell phone signal booster kit that has 50 Ohm exterior antenna port, all you do is switch this antenna with your stock antenna. If you don't have such a system, you will need a cable with type N-Male connector on end that will connect to antenna and on other end of cable it needs to have connector that will fit or connect to the cellular or wifi device that needs signal boost.

For example, if you have one of the common and popular cellular / LTE router, it probably has a SMA Female connector so you will need cable with N-Male connector on one end and SMA-Male connector on its other end.

  • Interested in parabolic grid antenna. I am wondering what connectors are on the end of pigtail and if it will work with my no name booster.

There's no pigtail. Antenna has 50 Ohm Type N-Female connector. This is standard for all 50 Ohm exterior antenna port cellular boosters so all you do is remove existing 50 Ohm cable from existing antenna and insert that cable with N-Male connector into this antenna. In in event you have cell booster with 75 Ohm exterior RF port, you will need to attach a N-Male to F-Female connector to this antenna's RF port and then connect your 75 Ohm cable with F-Male connector from existing antenna to the connector at preceding link.

  • Looking wifi antenna with a range of around 10 miles.

Yes, this referenced antenna has power to reach up to 10 miles.

  • I purchased Cell Phone & WiFi Directional Parabolic Grid Antenna from you guys and we got it installed professionally. The issue I'm having is the upload speeds. Download we can hit 30+ mbs/sec but the upload speeds are barely scraping 3 mbs/s. Do you have suggestions on how to get that upload speed faster?

That is most probably due to an issue with the cell site. It is also normal with any ISP because at our office we get 100MB down and just 25MB UP and that is with the 100MB plan. If the cell site is MiMo, you could run 2 antennas + and - 45 degrees slanted to ground. Your speeds should be close to double. Also try slanting left and or right 45 degrees. The rotating bracket will help for fine tuning too. We have dual pol dishes already but those are currently selling at over $1500 to non-telecom users (drone tracking, drone jamming, drone data) - it is for high power. A test would be, to get close to the cell site with your mobile, if the phone works MiMo you can test if the cell site is MiMo or not. Last, make sure the carrier is not limiting your speed. Please contact us if you need further suppport. Thank you.

  • Thank you so much for earlier dual antenna MIMO set-up - Slanting one left 45 degrees and the other one slanting right 45 degrees. The gray antenna feed horn has a small red arrow sticker on it showing which way is up. Should both those stickers be pointing up? I had read somewhere online that you should have one at 45% and the diversity antenna at 135%. Looking from behind the antenna towards the tower, I have the primary antenna leaning 45% clockwise and the red arrow is pointing to the top of the antenna grid so is also 45 degrees clockwise. The second antenna is leaning 45 degrees to the left with the red arrow also pointing to the top of the antenna or 45 degrees to the left. This seems like it would be 315 degrees instead of 135 degrees. Should I rotate the gray feed horn 180 degrees so that the red arrow would be pointing towards 135 degrees, down to the right?

The arrow is up so the water weep hole is always to the bottom. The grid and feed horn have to be slanted 45 degrees left or right ref to horizon and 90 degrees apart from each other. Please see the image here: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1142/1404/files/MIMO_Directional_Antenna_Setup.png

  • I have two of these antennas and my LTE modem has two antenna connections for MIMO, one is the primary and one is the diverisity anntenna connection. How should I mount my antennas for best signal? I have seen that LTE antennas should be mounted with correct polarity. I'm not sure how to do that with these.

Slant one left 45 degrees and the other one slanted right 45 degrees. Point them at the same cell site tower. One can be higher than the other on the same pole. Next to each other too, but that requires more pole work. Thank you.

  • Why does this need professional Installation? What is involved in the install process? I’m looking for something that will help improve WiFi receptivity on an island in another country. The tower is a few miles away and blocked by mountain slopes. Will this help?

It does require clear line of sight to cell tower but it may help if there is not too much blockage in between. The reason it may be stated in description that it requires professional installation is because this is an ultra directional antenna. Therefore, it must be pointed PRECISELY towards the cell tower. Any deviancy will prevent it from working so you need specialized tool such as a signal meter to gauge the right direction and point it accordingly without any margin for error.

  • I want to extend McDonald’s Wi-Fi hotspot about 1200 feet to where I am. I have line of sight standing on my roof. Would your parabolic directional grid antenna model G665UWBAFC work for that and can I hook that up to a router to distribute to my laptop? Or what do you recommend?

1200 feet could be a little out of range. Are you able to detect the McDonald’s signal where you are now or where you plan to mount the antenna with 1 or 2 bars on your phone or computer, or does the signal not come in at all? If there's a weak signal, this antenna will help improve it. If the signal does not come in at all, how much closer do you have to get for it to be detected? There needs to be some signal for any booster or antenna to help so please contact us for assistance, if there isn't any signal at all. Thank you.

  • I want to hook your directional Wi-Fi parabolic grid antenna to my ASUS RT-AX3000 router. I need a 15 foot cable from the antenna to the router but the router only has WAN port or a LAN port? Do you have the connections I need and if I hook your antenna and get good WiFi reception will it go to my router and supply Wi-Fi to my laptop? Or do I need something else?

Sorry, if you want to connect it to the router, that router needs to have a SMA connection. It will not work on the LAN ports.

  • I have a linksys router. Can I hook this up to it? My router connects to the internet but it’s slow. Because the internet source is 1/4 mile away

Yes, but you will need suitable cable and connector because this purchase only includes antenna - no cable, mounting pole, etc. See product listing for links to various cables with connectors for various devices.

  • How would I be able to connect the 1 antenna to both a wifi router and a weboost cell booster at the same time?

It would be best to get 2 antennas and feed each cable to respective cellular and wifi antenna port of your modem/router.

Alternatively, there's a 3G + 4G + 5G cable splitter you can use with buying 3 cables (one cable with N-male connectors for antenna to splitter and two cables with N-male to SMA-male connector from splitter to mobile and wifi antenna port) but splitter spans or covers 617-2700 MHz frequencies only, covering all current cellular frequencies but only wifi 2.4 GHz.

But if you buy 2 antennas, you will get max signal strength without splitting it and get the range of frequency signals needed for both types cell and wi-fi 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz technology frequencies because antenna covers 600 MHz to 6000 MHz (or 6 GHz).

  • 1. If I connect the Parabolic Antenna to the Hiboost - how do I connect the Hiboost to the Mofi4500 Router? 2. Recognizing that I am running with the prescribed setup but adding Hiboost - is there any surge protection issues that I should take into consideration?

If you opt to add the HiBoost cellular amplifier system, it would not be M2M direct connect set-up. Meaning, you would not connect directly to Mofi 4500 because you will boost its connectivity with its own stock whip or right angle antenna, wirelessly.

With this type wireless signal booster system, you would place the HiBoost amplifier's interior antenna right up close to Mofi4500 providing it wireless signal enhancement with up to +65dB to +70dB Gain (depending on booster model) so it can have strong and consistent connectivity to the mobile network. For example, you can install inside panel antenna against the wall beside the shelf on which your Mofi4500 modem or router is placed.

Please note that you will essentially be replacing the standard Yagi directional antenna included in HiBoost kit with this parabolic antenna which is more way powerful (up to 10 dBi vs up to 26 dBi, which is a huge difference).

  • I have purchased the telescoping antenna mount and the Bolton Parabolic antenna to connect to my Mofi4500. I have LOS to two different towers - less than 10km out. Should I ALSO purchase a Hibooster, or Weboost in support of optimizing my Mofi4500's signal? Thank you.

Yes, if your current set up does not amplify enough, you can opt for a powered cellular amplifier system that can amplify signal even more than passive antenna system.

We recommend a HiBoost system in this case because its signal amplifier's exterior antenna port is 50 Ohm which matches impedance of the Parabolic grid antenna you have purchased.

The parabolic grid antenna can be used instead of the lower Gain exterior antenna included with the HiBoost kit.

The N-Male cable connectors you will get with HiBoost kit will fit metal grid antenna's N-Female connector and the cell amplifier's N-Female outside antenna port.

  • We would like to buy this antenna for using with Matrice 600 Remote Control Modification Booster which will require RP-SMA male connector to connect. So can you provide this antenna with RP-SMA male connector instead of N-Female connector that it has?

Sorry, we're not familiar which the cell or wifi booster or cellular / wifi device you plan to use this antenna with, but this antenna comes with built-in N-Female connector. First of all, you will need a cable to connect it to your booster. The cable will therefore need a type N-male connector.

You can buy this ultra low loss 400 cable with N-Male connectors on both ends (length can be however long you need to connect from antenna to reach your cellular or wifi device):
    https://www.signalbooster.com/products/ultra-low-loss-coax-cables-wilson400-equiv-to-lmr400-2-1000-ft-50-ohm

You can buy this connector that will connect to above cable that connects antenna on one end and your wifi or cellular booster / device, on other end that you say requires RP-SMA Male connector:
    https://www.signalbooster.com/products/type-n-female-to-rp-sma-male-connector

Buying the 2 additional items listed above (you can buy them from anywhere) will ensure you can connect this antenna to your device to boost its cellular and/or wifi reception on all frequencies and bands from 600 MHz to 6000 MHz (6 GHz).

  • Would a pair of these work with: Sending replacing one antenna: Cradlepoint Mobile Broadboad Router 1400 Attached to the receiving cellular replacing antennas: Cradlepoint MC200LE-VZ 4G LTE (USA) / 3G EVDO. I would need a third and 4th to receive, then redistribute the signal further to a remote camp.

Sorry, it is hard to figure out exactly what you have asked. But we can tell for sure that the device is a cellular device which is also a wifi router/access point. The rough images we found on eBay show 3 SMA connectors on the rear. Assuming the device is actually 4G (needing access to 7 cell bands), you can connect this big grid antenna to the cell antenna port and get cell data.

If 2 ports, then maybe use 2 antennas at +45 deg and -45 deg pol. (if it is 4G/5G).

The other ports are probably for the wifi access point so you can get by using a wifi (2.4 or dual band) outdoor panel or yagi antenna, instead of this full wide bandwidth antenna Yagi grid antenna to shoot the wifi out.

Sorry, you cannot re-distribute a cell signal, if that is what you're asking whether you can do. You might do that with a cell repeater only if the cell tower is from one side and the repeater can TX in an opposite or perpendicular direction. Then you can use another of this cell antenna with grid for that - Spaced 50 feet away and in another direction.

Sorry, we're speculating here because little is known about the device and the question is not clear. Please contact us if this does not help. Thank you.

  • Would this work well being directly connected to a MoFi router without a booster? Thanks.

Sorry we're not familiar with MoFi router and how it works but if it can access wifi and/or cellular reception wirelessly, it implies that this can act as a passive signal booster to improve that reception if connected directly to it using coax cable.

  • Is this antenna to be used by itself or with another mounted at 90 degrees. I will be using a celfi go x booster and a mofi 4500 router. I only have one tower carrying AT@T in my area

This antenna can be used as a single standalone donor antenna for any type powered or non-powered wifi and cell enhancement system that has 50 ohm impedance outside antenna port such as Cel-Fi Go-X smart signal booster.

  • How do I find hardware that is specifically compatible with this?

This exterior antenna can be replaced with the one that comes with a 50 Ohm cell phone signal booster kit such as https://www.signalbooster.com/products/hiboost-home-15k-lcd-signal-booster-f20g-5s-lcd

  • I would be using this antenna to provide a signal to a jetpack. Can I plug the antenna lead directly into the jetpack jack or do I the inside booster antenna?

A complete "powered" cellular amplifier kit would provide best results because it amplifies signal many fold. However, the direct-connect "passive" antenna solution you're planning may work for you if outside signal is not too weak.

  • What is line of sight distance that you get good signal from?

  • Will this work with the 75 Ohm weBoost Connect 4G Cell Phone Booster Kit - 470103

Sorry, this is a 50 Ohm antenna and would not work with your kit. Here's a powerful 12dBi 75 Ohm antenna that will work, though: https://www.signalbooster.com/products/12dbi-yagi-log-periodic-antenna-4g-lte-3g-wifi-75-ohm-698-2700-mhz

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
