Sub-6 600 To 6000 Mhz Wi-Fi 4G LTE 5G Antenna is surface mounted heavy duty antenna. Surface mount antenna features a direct N female connector. It boasts a peak gain of 3 dBi. Perfectly suited for heavyduty and other types of industrial applications, this antenna allows full access to the 5G frequency band between 600 and 6000 megahertz, including the 5 gigahertz LAA band, the new Citizens Band Radio Service between 3.55 and 3.7 gigahertz, and Band 71 from 617 megahertz.
It is constructed from black ABS plastic. It boasts an operational temperature between -40 degrees Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius. This unique antenna can be utilized in both fixed and remote locations. Fixed locations can include data transfer centers, for remote monitoring, and even from moving fleet vehicles incl. car, truck, pickup truck, van, minivan, bus, minibus and suv.

Where is the best place to install on a pick-up truck? Where in a home? Where in a store? What is the effective range of the signal from the antenna?
Best place would be to install vertically on roof of pickup, home, or store. Please note this requires professional installation because it has to be drilled into the roof or inserted in pre-existing hole, or hole made in the roof. The range varies greatly depending on strength of signal from transmitter but can be several miles omnidirectionally, with a clear line of sight to signal source.

Please advise as to placement of antenna in proximity to any motor, i.e. distance from antenna to fan motor. I want to place the Wifi booster within the shroud of an exterior ceiling fan in my RV as the antenna needs protection from the weather. Will the use of the fan cause interference with the Wifi signal reception? If so, what would be the minimum separation distance from the antenna to any motor unit?
Please make sure that antenna will be placed atleast 12 inches from any other antennas and other objects. Additionally, place at least 6 inches from any glass, incl. windows and sunroof.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.
Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.
If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
